Chokha raised £700 for Haven House

Chokha Indian Fine Dining Restaurant and Bar raised £700.00 for Haven House Children’s Hospice at the Opening Launch, through a raffle and bar sales (with 50% of proceeds going to the hospice).

Carmen Easterby of MAD Ideas who managed the launch event for Chokha said: “The incredible amount raised by the restaurant will go towards helping the hospice provide a range of services to life-limited children and their families to support them through the most difficult circumstances imaginable. Special thanks to Chislehurst and Shortland‘s Golf Clubs, Panda Radio, Breeze Yoga, Mercedes Benz for generously donating prizes. Many congratulations to the winners and to the Chokha team.”

Haven House Children’s Hospice added: “We wish everyone a wonderful time at Chokha restaurant and we wish them every success with the business. Thank you all so much for your support – it is much appreciated by the staff, the children and their families at Haven House Children’s Hospice.”

Chokha spoke of the link they have with the hospice: “This is a cause very close to our family and the charity is near where we live. They do a great job going above and beyond.”
